My desk in my home office has never been helpful for my creativity development. I can do my normal, paying job at it, which I do at least 3 times a week. But whenever I have some ideas for new projects, I suddenly draw blank as soon as I sit at the desk and try to work on the ideas. One can easily argue that this is a convenient excuse, and to some extent, I agree with it.
Another reason for me not being creative is probably: me. I am my own worst enemy. But that is a topic of its own for another day.
Let me just tell you a little more about this desk, which can be summarized into 1 word: cluttered. I have piles of stuff on this desk, opened letters which may date back to 2004; a 17 inch Apple computer which stopped working 2 years ago; piles of books and phone books; a couple of external hard drives which were rarely used; a Sony radio which stopped working 3 years ago. You get the idea. So it may be interesting to you to know that whenever I blog, I will try to avoid my uncreative desk.
Blogs are all about me, where me being whoever the owner of the blog. I don't know what I am expecting out of posting here. I have a few interests, dreams and goals. Today, though, I want to explore the functionality of import and export of blogger.com. I have to say though, I don't really like blogger.com as it is not user friendly enough. If a semi computer geek like me say this, Google really messed up with this product/service. Yet again, I don't think Google would care, so I don't care either.
