Jack: "If the Giants kept losing to the Reds like this (0 to 9), then they don't deserve to go the World Series."
Ying: "Well, the good news is, Siri is working well on understanding your questions and giving good answers."
Jack: "Yeah, that's true. Siri is working well."

Taking Monday Off
I told my friend Ray that I was taking Monday off, so that maybe we could take our boat out.
Ray said: "Oh, but it's going to rain on Monday. You don't take a day off when it rains."
Nice. That's the story of my life.

Learning to use Xcode
Last night after my 9:15 pm call with a group, I went to the living room to find Jack working on his MacBook Pro.
He said: "I'm writing a new iPhone app, do you want to learn?"
Usually I would say yes, but I was really tired last night, from accumulating fatigue. I felt kind of numb.
First we tried to download the new Xcode on my own MacBook Pro from the AppStore, but my operating system was too old. So he started showing me how to create a new project on his computer, and said I should take notes.
So here we go:
Step one, open Xcode.
Step two, file->new project.
Step three, give the project a name: MyGreatProject
"Can I go to bed now?"
"No, you haven't even started yet."
Step four, create a new folder so that you can save your archives into different versions.
Step five, go to view controller and select the views you want to add to your application. Add a "Date Spinner" on the UI.
"I'm really tired, and I need to go to bed."
"No, we're not done yet."
Step six, you can also add other UI components, such as button view and labels. Then save the project.
"OK I'm going to bed."
