Researches said

Various researches from different countries found lots of health benefits on the following food intake. (Excuse me for not able to quote the exact researches.)

  • Swedish researchers said drinking 6 (or is it 4?) cups of coffee or more will have a lot of benefits to the body, range from good for cardiovascular health, high in antioxidant, to even extend lifespan. From the book "The Girl with Dragon Tattoo," I learned that Swedish drink coffee all day long. I was amused by sentences like this throughout the book: "[It was 3 AM], Michael made himself a pot of coffee."
  • Indian researches found lots of health benefit of turmeric intake, including high in antioxidant, cancer fighting, etc.
  • Italian researches found lots of health benefit of drinking red wine, such as cardiovascular health.
  • Chinese researchers found health benefit of eating white rice.

  1. Researches versus personal experiments
Many people including me (whom I can quote exactly) have experimented that 6 cups of coffee daily can cause cystitis, and create addiction (causing severe headaches sometimes when coffee is not available), drinking red wine every day even in reasonable amounts has some side effects which stop when you switch to water for a few days, eating white rice exclusively is somewhat constipating, and eating a lot of tumeric is not very easy when you're not born Indian.
I'm sceptical about most researches. Actually, it would really help to know who paid for each research, as many of them seem to benefit an industry or the other.
There was for instance a French research which found that people in the south-west of France had less cardiovasuclar diseases, and they concluded that Bordeaux wine and foie gras (which are produced in this area) were protecting against vascular diseases ! Silly. They produce and eat a lot of vegetables, just like Italians, Indians and Chinese, and have a balanced diet.
